Yes, and I try to note the most common substitutions in each recipe. If you have a specific question about an ingredient, feel free to ask.
Where can I find Czech ingredients outside the Czech Republic?
Many Czech staples — caraway seeds, good sweet paprika, proper lard — are available in Central European delicatessens in most larger cities. Online specialist retailers are also a reliable option.
Do you accept recipe contributions?
Occasionally. If you have a family recipe you would like to share, send it by email with a brief description of its origin. I cannot promise to publish everything, but I read all submissions.
